Here’s What Actually Happened....
Hello, our Sunday lazy enthusiast,
Our favourite day at times is Sunday because that’s when we usually are at our best (read lazily lying down on the bed ;p), but also because we conduct our sessions on Sundays at times.
Some folks in the last few days have been telling us how they missed the deadlines of Batch 16 or how they couldn’t discover how cool the LFR platform is (we are very cool, on Google reviews,1 person gave us 5 stars, who btw was our intern).
This afternoon, we were creating this beautiful post for you to invite some of you (30 to be precise) to apply for our sessions and thought we would call our favourite people on the internet. But suddenly something happened! Something dreadful! Something illegal! Something…. Let’s cut the drama. We mistakenly sent you the old draft of our newsletter.
Just like Squid Game dropped a new season, we’re back with a fresh batch! Scroll for more details!
Best part (read scary) part about that email is it had photos of a lot of our horror nostalgia MATHSSS. As per Jhandu Broke Lawyer, Survey of 2025, 63% of law students are scared of MATHS, so it was natural that the reminder of the horror must have caused some fear (it did to our team members).
BUT BUT BUT. It brings finally the best news for the day.
We thought, even though our mentee slots are filled, we wanted to open our 10 sessions for the general public. However, since we try to keep the batch size small, we will prioritise 30 folks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Also, here’s a secret sauce we didn’t mention above (because we wanted you to scroll all the way down). All of these sessions are packed with hands-on exercises, real-time reflections, and the kind of “ohhh now I get it” moments we wish law school had more of. They're led by mentors from some of the best law schools, and these sessions have an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 across previous batches (that’s almost 5 stars, and no, our intern didn’t rate all of them).
These sessions include:
1. Mastering CV and cover letter drafting
2. Nuances of Legal Research: What is 21st Century Legal Research?
3. What happens in General Corporate & M&A law Firms?
4. What fits better? Expert discussions on Litigation, Dispute Resolution and ADR
5. Emerging careers after Law: The new job market post AI
6. Public Speaking for Lawyering: Fallacies, hiccups, and confidence building
7. What AI Tools Lawyers Should Know?
8. Navigating Law School: How do I build a support network to survive Law School?
9. Bar ke Bahar: Artists of Law Fraternity
10. Capstone Project: A hands-on problem that teaches drafting, research, data for the legal world and team coordination
So, before this turns into another Sunday nap read, if you’ve been waiting to experience LFR in its full, glorious chaos-meets-clarity mode, this is your sign. Register for the sessions here- Click here.
We’re also attaching A LIITLE PDF WITH THE SESSION DETAILS (because who doesn’t love a well-designed PDF on a Sunday? - Click here)
We hope to see all of you rockstars in our future workshops and 30 of you in our Batch 16 sessions. Hope our afternoon email gauged your scrolling and you wondered why the hell I got this newsletter. This substack post might give you a new insight, like it gave us a new insight that in your legal career, mistakes will be part and parcel of our life and the next substack post will be about a GRAND PARTY ON MISTAKES (top secret right now, more details soon).
